At Brain Box Development, we don't use an "off the shelf" CMS because we don't have any "off the shelf" clients. Many downloaded or purchased systems are confusing (too feature packed, think of a remote control with 120 buttons when all you want to do is turn your TV on) or they limit the way a site can be laid out. Utilizing custom programming, we can implement an administrative interface for your website that will make is as easy to update as possible (like sending an email or using a word processor). We do all this while keeping the integrity of your layout in tact and search engine friendly. Many of our clients use their CMS to make day to day updates, only needing our assistance to add new features to their sites.

Although a content management system can do some graphic work, it can't do everything and sometimes this kind of system just isn't in your budget. If this is the case, we still have monthly maintenance available.

Keep in mind CMS systems do not work for every one. Web sites that require a large amount of graphic-based changes may need the knowledge of an experienced web developer. If a "web guy"e; isn't in the budget for your staff, we are still there to help when needed with hourly or maintenance contracts depending on the your needs.
